- Medicare Advantage: Medicare Advantage is a type of Medicare health plan offered by a private company that contracts with Medicare to provide all your Part A and Part B benefits. Depending on your location, Medicare Advantage plans may include extra benefits.
- Medicare Supplement: Medicare Supplement, also known as Medigap, is a type of insurance that is designed to help cover some of the costs that Original Medicare does not cover, such as copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. There are ten standardized Medigap plans available, each offering different levels of coverage.
- Prescription Drug Plans: Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs), also known as Medicare Part D, are separate plans offered by private companies that provide coverage for prescription drugs. They can be added to Original Medicare or to a Medicare Advantage plan that does not already include drug coverage.
